Fabulous swim in Playa Amadores

Another lovely day in Grand Canaria. Unfortunately G had a bad case of Delli Belly and mostly stayed indoors, or on the sunbed next to the pool to recover.

I was lucky and escaped the bug, we can't think what caused him to be poorly as we have both eaten the same. 

I was able to walk down to Playa Amadores, where I went for an early morning swim off the beach. I swam the length of the buoyed off area and back. The sea was beautiful. I met a couple who live here and their 2 dogs. They recommended that we go to the harbour and to the next bay, where I ran to yesterday. That will definitely be something that I do when G recovers. I returned up the steep hill to the hotel and stayed the rest of the day by the pool taking the occasional pool swim and joining in with the hotel aqua gym. I hope that G recovers soon, as it is not like him to be unwell.
