The Umbrella

This is an area called Ecaiweni, about 15 km from Mzuzu. Wells for Zoe are involved in a micro credit scheme with a village group. This co operative comprises twenty two women and eight men, working on lands donated by the chiefs. They started three years ago with the aim of feeding the old, the aids victims and the orphans. Many of these, having fun under the umbrella, are the orphans getting "village care" which we also support.
