A big boy done it and ran away!

Glad I wasn’t looking out this clubhouse window when some Wally smashed it. Must have been one cracker of a golf shot!
We finally made it home from Amsterdam in the wee hours and just crashed out. It’s good to be back.
I’d booked a session with the golf pro which is why I was standing admiring the window before spending yet another hour with him in the elusive search for a new driver. Almost there though, he just has to order a slightly heavier (45g) shaft and money will be changing hands!
While I was out, a couple of abseiling plumbers arrived to fix our leaking downpipe which was great - we can use our bathroom toilet and the garden flat neighbours don’t get our waste water landing outside their back door. Not a cheap repair but no need for four flights of scaffolding so well worth it.
Later we caught up with the regular crew in The Tiq where holiday tales were recounted over the general hubbub, quizzes were quizzed and beers were downed. A nice end to the day.
