Michaelmas Feast
It’s September, the nights are definitely drawing in (and cooler) and the garden is looking a bit sorry for itself. However the highlight plant of the month in my garden has started to flower, the Michaelmas Daisy. These come from a clump taken from my late mum’s garden before she moved into a flat many years ago. They haven’t done too well this year, but the bees and other insects are enjoying a last feast of nectar before doing whatever they do overwinter.
