Flat Pack Nightmare!
All I can say about this (although I'll obviously say more) is thank goodness Marlane was with me to interpret the inadequate instructions.
Goodness knows what it would have been like, and how long it would have taken me, if I'd been left to do it myself.
Apart from the instructions Marlane pitched in and it was a real joint project.
At times we are going to have 4 children staying with us, and possibly 6 on rare occasions, so Marlane thought we'd better put the current girls bunk beds into the Master Bedroom along with the double bed that's already in there.
And a brand spanking new bunk bed was delivered this afternoon.
It only took us from around 16:00 to 19:00 to complete it, and another hour cutting up all the cardboard that came with it so it would fit into the recycling bag, and general tidying up the tools and bits and pieces.
We were aching all over, sore backs too, so the making of the beds will have to wait until tomorrow.
We didn't have the girls volunteering to help (thanks goodness but don't tell them I said so). Julia took them off to spend a weekend at the beach.
