Reflections in Derwentwater

There was one last shoot this morning, after we had checked out of the hotel.

Martin had to go home, so David, Mark and I took our own cars and headed for the Ashness Gate Landing on Derwentwater.

There were lovely, colourful reflections when we first arrived and the water was quite still. The wind soon got up and the reflections were then very choppy.

After this, I drove home, via Hexham for provisions.

I planned to sleep all afternoon and I tried. Sleep escaped me. So, I'm hoping for an early night tonight.

It's been a brilliant week. I can also highly recommend our guesthouse, Sunnyside in Keswick. I plan to stay there again. We were looked after so well and in a very comfortable setting.
