Apples and Oranges

Happy Friday 13th! :)

We had our Harvest feast today, so no customers and a lot of cooking. A coworker and I made a zucchini soup, and there were so much food on the table after all of us were done cooking. Much of the foods were from our harvests, but some were bought.
There were a lot of chatter in the kitchen I was in, so after the soup was done I went outside to rest my brain. The sun was out and I took a stroll in our park and photographed many flowers. This was one of my favs from that stroll.
When I came in again, the table was set and food started to arrive. I also got the chance to taste the black currant leaf lemonade I picked leaves for last Monday. I highly recommend it! It was so good! Everyone that tasted it loved it. :)
After lunch inside, we moved outside to have dessert. :)
Some customers arrived now and then, only to see the sign on our door. Some customers almost made it inside, before we could stop them. We did announce it on instagram, but not every customers follow us there. Large yellow note on the door, and yet they try the door... just in case, I guess.
I was at work for 6 1/2 hours today, feeling it afterwards... Although a coworker from another group gave me energy when we chatted about a full bin in the forest. She's such a nice person and I've known her for a couple of years now. We contemplated if a larger bin would be better in that spot and she'd take to her boss about it. A small bin along a popular dog walking, and I guess also picnic spot,  gets filled up very quickly. I walk by that bin every workday and she's in 'charge' of emptying the bins in the forest, so that's why the topic came up. :)
Enjoying a cup of tea now, before bedtime. :)
