The Wild Atlantic Way

What the Irish call soft weather. It was mist and drizzle most of the morning and heavier rain this afternoon. My travel companions got a lot wetter than I did. This photo at Keen was taken through the car window.
Stopped for a great coffee and a good lunch, the main difference was the excellent convivial service at coffee and the disorganised, stressed and hence unwelcoming service at lunch. Guess which one we are going back to for our dinner tonight.
Achill Island is absolutely fascinating but we would have preferred to see it on a better day.
