Unseasonal

Spent a lot of the day at the DLC playing Padel and then, unexpectedly, playing tennis. I hadn’t played either for a while and it showed, particularly in the tennis. I am torn between thinking I will probably never be good enough to play in matches with strangers and thinking I need to play more so that I get better. I agreed to sign up to a group of social tennis players with the friends we have made there, Paul and Evie, and will give it a few more goes before throwing in the towel. By early evening it was really cold and the forecasters say it will be like this for a few days yet. Had to light a fire.
