Richmond Flying Squirrels Baseball

The Richmond Flying Squirrels is Class AA baseball club in Richmond, Virginia. I added it as the last stop on our Washington DC & Virginia vacation because I like baseball and squirrels so this was a must-see event. I wasn't disappointed. Baseball in the minor leagues is great fun. They had Marty McFly's time-travelling DeLorean out front on exhibit (I suspect it is a replica) complete with a Marty lookalike (sort of). Ghostbusters were also present. These were tie-ins to movie and fireworks that followed the game on 1980s Night. We had first-row seats behind the screen just left of that gap in the front row left of centre. The Squirrels beat the Bowie Baysox 6-3. We left after 7 innings to beat the crowd out who were not staying for the shows. Heading home tomorrow. A very long drive ahead.
