Motorcycles seem to be a bit of a theme lately. Met our friends at the National Gallery where we had morning coffee followed by a peruse of the free exhibits. The 200 or so concrete motorcycles pictured are one of the pieces by Teo Eng Sang. They represent the daily commute of workers across the Johor-Singapore causeway. Then a quick detour through the gift shop. On to the Asian Civilisations Museum for a look at some architectural photographs by Daniel Koh followed by lunch in the cafe. Then we parted ways as they had to return to their hotel before heading out to the airport. We continued on to the UOB plaza (extra 1) where we saw some public art, particularly a piece by Salvador Dali - Homage To Newton (extra 2).
