To and fro
One of these bitty days. Swam in the morning. I'm trying to do as much back stroke as possible. It is more strenuous and I swim further! Back for a meeting that turned out to be a waste of time but I got other things done.
The plan was to feed Alfie then head slowly to meet Sally at Craigie's in good time but I got half way to the flat and realised I'd forgotten my phone so had to go back up the hill and take the by pass.
A good catch up about India and travel and disrupted travel and wasps! It's a lovely view and clearly raining in Fife. As I drove back to the dual carriage way and I looked right to see the afternoon Qatar flight from Doha coming in very low. Aaah!
Home I fed D and B, had a chat with G sitting outside enjoying the sun and did the ironing before it was time to go to the Everyman. Not a good journey, halfway down North Bridge the #7 driver said we were diverting via Princes Street due to congestion in Leith St. That took ages. When I got to the Everyman I discovered the high balcony obscured my view of the screen. I know I'm dimimutive but in theatres they alert you to this. And the QR code for ordering food and drink, too dark for my phone to pick them up. I'd already decided to avoid the expensive food. Luckily the people in the double seat next to me decided to move, downstairs perhaps, so I sat on their cushions and had mune behind my back. That solved the viewing issue.
I was there to see 'Prima Facie', one woman play with Jodie Comer, part of a National Theatre Live screening. It was amazing, very moving and definitely a tour de force. Made me glad I am working in that field to tackle abuse. It was also emotionally draining.
Walked up to South Bridge. The town was busy, new students queuing outside The Tron (pub) and walking around consulting Google Maps.
At home so sign of the Norther Lights but I watched some tv, finished the fizz and ate snacks. Well I'd had no dinner/tea!
