had the clams

Out to Armacao de Pera today for a stroll and paddle along the busy beach, then back via photo - wonderful bird life in the remnants of the river and a very large bird of prey, but right at the end of portable camera range and too fuzzy to use. 
Lunch, of course. Had the clams, no second thoughts.. Home for pool swim & lounging around. Hot day and warm evening, so we sat on the patio and watched the stars appear.
The villa went on the market today, photos making it look remarkably lovely as they always do.
