Sun lizard

I love the sun. Luckily the sun loves me too and as long as I don't go crazy I don't burn (thanks for that Spanish great-grandad) I have therefore been christened sun lizard this week as my companions can't tolerate it as well. As long as my skin doesn't go all wrinkly I'm ok with that - I've been called worse!

Atlantic beach today - hired an umbrella for my delicate skinned friends, played frisbee in the sea, jumped around in the waves - surely one pastime you can never grow out of - ate ice cream and read. After yesterday's awesome Mexican lunch we went back for a very late lunch so P could experience it again - I had a big salad this time and only a few nachos (rxs you would have liked them a lot). Then chilled out and snoozed in the garden before we all went for a run as promised. Was great if a little warm - ran on a path with the ocean on either side.

And now the boys are BBQing - we stocked up (expensively it has to be said) at a farmers market earlier and have burgers, local tuna, large shrimp, aubergine, peppers, tomatoes, mozzarella and salads. Don't think I'll go hungry.
