Who wants to play chase?
This one did for one.
My blip is of a small white, Pieris rapae.
Now add in two male large whites, Pieris brassicae (in 'extras') and all three spent the whole afternoon chasing each other round and round this Pittosporum tree in my garden.
Occasionally one would stop for a rest, only to be set up in the air again by one of the others.
Both large whites ('extras') were showing signs of wear: one missing half of its right rear wing, the other with large bites out of both hind wings.
