Today's the day ...................... for a late one

A lovely sunny day today - and lots of butterflies in the garden making the most of it.

We took Marj to Lockerbie this morning, where she caught the train home to Reading.  Will picked more apples this afternoon and I did a bit of tidying up in the rockery.  Then, this evening we've been out for a meal with friends in Kirkcudbright which was very pleasant.

It's late now - so I'm off to bed......................!
