Ivy, Small White

I've decided to upload just a single main blip #ivyvisitors image daily through September rather than a montage as I did last year. I'm hoping to post a different subject every day. It was lovely to see a small white and some red admiral butterflies today flitting about in the sunshine. I've blipped the small white as they're not as keen on ivy blossom as red admirals and I might not get the chance of a another shot. I've added a red admiral to extras hoping that I get a better image of one in the coming days for a main. 

It was interesting watching a pair of hornets this morning. They bumble about bashing into the foliage and other insects. I got one in flight that I've added to extras. This is another subject that I hope to get a close shot of for a main image soon.
