Hail shower and sunshine

The temporary Arctic chill was well forecast. Such is the unpredictably of this year’s weather. Summer will return on Saturday! I had an appointment in town this morning. We were in the supermarket when the hail ricocheted across the car park. Later the sun came out and low-lit the late summer foliage on the false acacia tree. As I type now the waxing moon ‘hangs’ wistfully in those branches.
