Bark
A sunny but cool day and it's my birthday! Himself went off bright and early to take the car back to East Cork as he is still not happy. The main guy examined it, spent time talking to Himself but could find nothing wrong with the gearbox. Himself drove it home - the noise still going now and again but goodness knows what it is. The solution seems to be to turn the music up loud - we have a 12 month guarantee anyway.
Nice early morning Skype with Joe in NZ who's working hard on his tiny home. and is using up all left over timber in his workshop to make a craftsman kitchen. Esme, now minus one tooth, is settling into school nicely and is a whizz at maths apparently - goodness knows where she's got that from. Will rang up on his lunchtime break in the climbing centre - he was in the middle of painting the (large) walls of the Crazy Time room! A chat with my brother and various other friends have made it a very pleasant low key day.
Himself, now home, has made supper and a glass of prosecco has been taken - plus a slice of cheesecake with a candle in. We know how to live!!
This is the bark of an elm tree for Abstract Thursday - full of scripts and symbols, and the odd nibble.
