Water Lily

A trip this morning to the Rouken Glen Garden Centre for potting compost and some daffodil bulbs for my empty tubs.

Purchases made I walked up to the pond. The weather was fine and sunny, the pond calm as a millpond and ducks enjoying having the pond to themselves. The Swans were enjoying a siesta on a very mucky area of the path but it was the Swans own muck they were lying in.

The water lilies are no longer looking their best but there were a couple of dark red flowers within range the focal length of my camera.
