Dog Grooming...

...through the window.

On the way back to the car from lunch at the Spinster Sisters, where the middle aged chef with pink hair still can be found in the open kitchen, we glanced through the window of the dog grooming place and both burst out laughing. I wonder what these ladies would say if we walked in there with our 90 pound black lab?

A walk through the neighborhood and the neighboring park, containing The Church of One Tree, a church made entirely with the wood of--you guessed it--one tree. also produced glimpses of The Criminal Bakery, several art galleries, a camera shop and a hair salon.for people. This little neighborhood, also known as The Arts District, is one of the oldest parts of town. There are a lot of little frame houses with nice gardens interspersed with auto repair shops, upscale diners and Mexican grocery stores.

Getting back to the car we noticed a new mural on the side of the Spinster Sisters' building of--what else--the spinster sisters, one bent over a spinning wheel and the other some hand work. I put my picture in the Blipfolio under People.
