Tuesday

I enjoyed an early morning walk with this pack of dogs in, around and across the surrounding countryside in glorious weather. Dippy seems to lose all sense of hearing when sheep, pheasants or anything that has a heartbeat comes within range!
In this photo are Dippy, Dippy’s mum, dad, sister and uncle, grandma Tess was still sleeping deeply when we left.
A delightful breakfast of (freshly laid) scrambled eggs on toasted sourdough was enjoyed before sourcing some greenery for the feathered creatures that live here.
Into town to collect some items I had ordered a while back. No coincidence that I bumped into dear friend Marge in a doorway sheltering from a heavy downpour but as always full of energy and love for life, hugs are an absolute essential element when we greet. Not surprisingly we both sing off the same hymn sheet whenever we meet. Worldliness of a blessedly lived life gathering wisdom oozes from her wonderful heart and soul regardless of her mobility challenges. We searched in vain for a indoor and dry venue for a cup of tea but had to settle for a charity shop where together with the staff and endearing Dippy we entertained each other and the clients who were browsing there.
After saying our goodbyes I headed back to base and prepared food for all before a late evening charge across the fields with a six pack of dogs watching the clouds drifting overhead as the last light from the sun gracefully provided its wonderful light show.
A most memorable day, thank the Lord.

Thank you all so much for your kind and generous words, stars and hearts here in Blipland. Opening our eyes to see the beauty around us is something that we all have in common and kindness abounds from everyone.xx
