Where the cicadas live

Those pine trees are so typical of Provence, they grow tall and smell wonderful. They're also the cicadas favorite summer house so they sound like they're singing all day.
People who did not grow up in the south of France might find the constant sound of cicadas extremely loud and sometimes annoying.
To me, it's the sound of summer.
