Aperitif

Today's the day ....................... for a malfunction

We left Pembrokeshire today after such a wonderful week - and headed up the coast for a couple of nights in Cardiganshire.

We stopped for a picnic lunch at the little village of Trefin where there is an old ruined mill, the subject of a very famous welsh poem. It was when I tried to take a picture of it that disaster struck. My trusty little camera - the main reason that I started blipping nearly three years ago - jammed. The lens couldn't focus (so it told me) and no amount of button pressing, battery removal or anything else I could think of had any effect whatsoever.

This is when I realised how much I enjoy having my camera in hand to record things that I see - at all times. It's just not the same without it. Will let me borrow his (very fancy) one to take this picture of him - but if anyone has any good ideas of how to mend a stuck camera, I would be very grateful ......................?
