Smokey Sun

This smoke is coming from northwest United States.
I pulled up pachysandra yesterday. Today I decided to turn over the soil in preparation for hosta planting ; which I planned to do in the afternoon after a trip to the garden centre where they had a number of plants that I don’t have (half price!). Turning over the soil turned into an ordeal of root extraction. Hostas are still in their pots and I’m looking forward to bedtime.
