I am loving being in such a great environment with fellow toggers. It really relaxes me.
Tonights talk was about off camera flash and studio lighting techniques. The inverse square law ( which I had forgotten about quite frankly).  The handy thing is the guy who did the talk is Simon Coates and I didnt realise is a Nikon guy. I said to him I thought you were a Canon guy and his reply was "No Im a proper photographer and I use Nikon" so that was excellent lol
He hasn't got one Nikon Z9 he has 2!! and several others. 
I wasn't at all sure Id fit in, in a camera club but I was wrong. I am joining properly next week and the guys are very welcoming. The dog is Bonnie as we have a partially sighted man in the club who takes excellent photos. 
In other news the conservatory saga continues and gets worse so I wont go into that suffice to say I think it's going to be a long drawn out expensive saga with some numpties with no communication skills and the problems these days with companies subcontracting to brickies as one doesn't know what the other wants doing!!!
The next time I get proper sleep will be when I go down to Paulas in Somerset for a few days from 24th Sept.
