Harvest time

I stopped shortly after take off to buy some alcohol while I was still in wine region. The first was a caviste in Rauzan and the second a winery. What was very exciting was all the tractors were coming in and dumping grapes fresh from the fields into the start of the process. I asked a very chic tractor driver (fashion scarf and wellies) if she would let me take a photo. I just meant from the front with the tractors lined up but she asked if I’d like to take a picture of them falling from the back.

So she took me inside! Very cool and the smell was amazing!

Beat the rain (it’s coming up behind me) so I’m making the most of sitting outside with a mountain view and sunshine. Cooked myself monster prawns too - and a set for tomorrow (because they make the van smell and I think the doors will be shutting out rain tomorrow!)
