Blowing in the wind

I slept right through the night.  11 p.m. lights out and woke at 7.40 a.m.  I wish that was every night.

I checked the NHS website this afternoon for my urgent test results and it says all my bloods are normal, which is an enormous relief.  It saves possible days of waiting and wondering.

An electrician has been this afternoon to change the wall lights in the lounge to something modern.  We don't have a centre light and always use lamps, but maybe we'll use these instead.  We also had the smoke alarms changed as the existing ones were installed when the house was built in 2001.

It's rained heavily on and off today but we now have sun and blue sky with clouds whizzing through.  It is certainly windy out there and the poor little lethargic carder bees were hanging on for dear life in the chill air.

Glad to know we've almost got a full team for the toenail clipper challenge.
