A steep climb.

I received a call just before setting off asking me to lead today’s walk as Rob‘s wife was unwell. Fortunately it is a walk I have done before, about 11 kilometres with 420 metres of ascent. It was a two car walk meaning that we could start in one village and walk to another on a balcony route. We left two of the cars at a meeting point in the lower village and then all went up in the other cars to the starting point. At the end of the walk one car took the drivers to collect the cars where we started the walk. The beginning of the walk was a steep climb for a couple of hours before we started the descent. The views were magnificent.
