A bit like how we feel…..

Planned to do a long mountain and valley walk with a weather forecast of showers.
Actually turned out incredibly windy as we went higher with fierce rain squalls and seriously low temperatures. Just after the highest point decided to bail out and take a shorter way back. Still managed to walk over 8 miles with more than 2000 ft of ascent.
Back now still with sun and showers but warm enough to dry out!
