I’d forgotten a visit to P&K - K almost being half way through his treatment. The poor chap took a while to get roused and come and join us and shivered under a big fur rug but he joined in and enjoyed our chats. One thing that’s surprised them both is due to his lack of energy that he can’t be bothered reading or watching films. He says even with news articles he finds himself just reading the headlines. A hard road and we all hope it’s worth it.
Who was outside their house but Ken, an old sailing friend. Hello I said I didn’t know you lived next to P&K. How long have you been here? Forty years said he. Small world, eh?
Anyway, I’ve been cracking on with hard landscaping. And I think it’s coming along. Slowly, obviously, but coming along.
