When I was small, goggles were kept on the drainer of the sink next to the washing machine, the natural place to put them when taking damp swimming stuff out of bags and the best place for them to dry after being rinsed, particularly as we favoured the gentler foam seals compared to aggressive rubber cups. Here, whilst they are apparently less unsightly than when dangling from the kitchen tap, they're getting re-dampened every time someone has a shower.
