Grand Union Canal

My daughter had an appointment this morning and on the way back got off the bus to call at Sainsbury’s which is situated by the canal. She walked home from there and sent me this picture for a blip. In the afternoon I went to visit her and sat in the summerhouse and watched the rain!!! See extra. Rain most of the day after that. All the gravel (and soil that accumulated) has been removed and bagged up. It will be replaced once the borders and stepping stones have been arranged. It all arrives tomorrow. Photobombed by Stormy the cat! The old gravel will be sifted and put elsewhere in the garden. The soil will go in the larger borders.
