Whale watching this morning. One of two wildlife trips we have planned. Unfortunately there was a massive bank of sea fog hanging around for most of the trip, making whale spotting quite hard ( you need to see them blowing). Still we saw* at least one humpback whale having a fun time "tail slapping" as well as some seals, sea lions and a plethora of sea birds. Did you know (sea)gulls will inter breed, creating hybrid ( and often infertile) young? No, me neither.

After the morning we had a quiet afternoon in the hotel. Himself went for a swim, I failed to make it to the gym and washing was done and dried (noone wants to run out of pants on holiday). We then went for a promised bison, but delivered wagyu, burger and a couple more local beers/ wines before bed.

Tomorrow brings more fun.

*There are lots more photos of the sea, other boats, the sky etc., with very little whale evidence.
