Never Sneak up on a little Robin

Went for a nice walk to try and capture one if two white Squirrels ( Albino) that live in a country park a few miles from my house! Walked about for almost 3 hours and didn't even see the grey ones! So heading back to the car following the small river, I noticed this little robin, I took a few shots from the front and it flew up river about 50 feet, so being from David Livingstone birthplace, I sneaked around going through some trees, sun was at my back, so I new if it looked my way the sun would blind it.. I got to about 8 feet of it and was on my knees, I took about 3 shots ( out of focus) then moved a little closer, positioned myself again and took another 3 shots before spotted me, shit itself and flew off!
