Hestercombe House and Gardens

We broke our journey home exploring the Georgian landscaped valley, Edwardian formal gardens and also the house. We were almost by ourselves so sparse were the number of visitors in this expansive estate. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch in the sunny stable courtyard. The weather deteriorated as we drove home. We have really enjoyed our Cornish break despite the weather being unseasonal like most of this year!
