Bird expert!

On December 14 I mentioned that little A wanted a golden eagle model from Santa. Instead he got this book which gives the songs and calls of most British birds. The first thing he does each morning when he wakes up is to jump in my bed and tell me about more birds and their sounds. He has a remarkable knowledge for a 6 year old and is a very keen naturalist. Meanwhile 8 year old L is very keen on maps so we explore places on the phone app. 6 year old I wants to read me a story so it's all go, then a mad rush to get ready for school. They have another week to go so I hope that the weather doesn't break before the local children have free time.
