Over Here!

I rather like this trio. Soon enough it will blossom into a quintet. They suddenly appeared in an un-mowed area of the lawn. I like how they’re trying hard to be noticed. Obviously it’s a weed but interestingly it has many names: flat weed, false dandelion, cat’s ear • We toodled around town in the new car. First we stopped by the city offices to get it registered. While there I picked up a couple of forms requesting absentee ballots for November’s Presidential election. Next, we dropped off books and clothing we no longer want, then stopped by to gaze at the river. All quiet • We’re nervous about tonight’s first and likely only debate between Harris and her opponent, DT. It certainly won’t change our minds but it may for some.
