Was able to walk to village to pick up paper and return a parcel because swelling on knee has virtually gone - the regime of sitting most of yesterday with leg raised with ice pack on knee has worked wonders - can now bend left leg - didn’t have to limp - sorted bus times and venue for forthcoming lunchtime refreshments for ex Toddler Volunteers outing - will reccy it tomorrow - because my manservant Mr Bennett won‘t
