Tuesday
I spent a couple of hours down in the cutting.
As I've neglected it since F's accident, and I no longer have Tim around, I was concerned that it had all got out of control. But it hadn't. Phew!
I've strimmed lots of Sedge seedlings and cut lots of mature ones before they produce seeds.
The trees on the orchard are heavy with apples and there's evidence of deer. At least they are eating the fruit!
I saw a deer from my bedroom window yesterday so I know they are around again.
Lucy rang me so she could cry. (There's no point in crying unless someone can hear you!) She's seeing a consultant tomorrow and then will know if she needs an operation. She's in a great deal of pain and feeling overwhelmed by work.
We have tickets for Graham Norton this evening. Clive doesn't know why because, "all he's doing is promoting his book." I told him it's an evening out and to stop complaining!
