Tiny Tuesday - Decay

The weather today has been awful, strong wind and heavy rain.

mcCaviti has asked us to look for signs of decay. the wind has blown this apple off the tree.  Instead of falling on the ground as they usually do, this one decided to leap onto the metal spike that T uses to support tall plants.  There is no obvious signs of decay yet, but if this rain continues there will be a lot of decay by the time T can go and rescue it from the spike.

This may not be the type of shot that  mCaviti expected, but  this challenge was first thing I thought of when I saw the apple.  Thank you for hosting this month's Tiny Tuesday challenge.
