The airport fire

The fire started yesterday at 1:47 PM at that time I was driving to a friend's house to bring here a fruit basket, because she had been in a car accident. When I arrived at her house I got a text, guess who... from Carolinav from France asking me about the fire. My friend Anna and I said: what fire???? Then when we were inside her house and I looked out of her screen door I saw it: a huge cloud of black smoke, that was getting bigger and bigger. It was pretty close to her house!!! I went home, watched the news to get the latest information. Then at night you could see the fire right here from my house. I had never seen it like this so close before. But we hope the wind will not turn towards the city, so far we are ok. The wind is blowing in the direction of the mountain area and not the valley.
I will stay home, now I was thinking about what to take.... it's impossible. Some people are taking it a lot more calm like my neighbor, she took me to the bookclub and said she had all seen it before....She said all we can do take our pets. But in our city is the evacuation center, so far so good.

1000 firefighters are there and more are on the way and the National Guard.
