Electric Rescue - Reepro
Great day going to Chinatown and Little India. There was a lot to do and see so I had trouble choosing a picture for blip. Here’s what we did though: 1. Michelin Star Chicken Rice, 2. Two temples, 3. Little India, 4. Indian for post lunch, 5. Haircut at the Indian barber, lots of pictures.
This was at the big temple in China Town. I’m not particularly religious but I do gravitate towards Buddhism. Perhaps it’s my Asian-ness as well as what I know about it on the surface (very little I’m afraid) that keeps me feeling content. I usually visit these temples whenever I’m in Malaysia and other Asian countries and few a sense of calmness and mental/spiritual reset.
This is a pick-and-choose attitude which I don’t think really respects the religion, but I at least don’t feel animosity nor skepticism towards it. I feel like I’m a part of something big as part of my heritage.
