Monday: Patriotism

Belizean Independence Day is next week.  From early September, the Belizean flag starts appearing all over the place, as do red, white and blue decorations.  

Here’s an interesting fact: the Belizean flag is the only one in the world that has two humans front and centre.  I probably don’t need to take it a step further and add that it’s also the only flag that has two half-naked men on it……..
