Fungi

I’m gradually seeing more and more fungi in Shell Bay wood. It felt chilly on our walk this morning, but I heard geese above the trees, then saw a red squirrel run up a tree trunk and across the tree canopy.
I searched online for a replacement inner glass for my oven door and was delighted to find it on Amazon. I got the last of the shattered glass out of the hinge line today. I couldn’t work out how to take the door off, which would have made it easier, but it’s done. I’ve no idea how or why it happened, but the availability of replacement glass makes me think it’s not too unusual.
Cut the grass and tried to strim the edges, but it turns out the battery on the secondhand strimmer Gary sourced for me doesn’t hold a charge. So that was a non-starter, literally.
