Getting ready
I have really enjoyed building a collection about 25 Succulent plants. Such a fascinating variation of form and shades of green. This past so called Summer they have grown very well in the sandbed in my cold Alpine greenhouse.

But now the crunch is approaching. Being plants holding significant water in their leaves they are not very keen on frosts.
Athough we have a mild climate here we do usually get a few frosts and by mid September this can happen at any time.
So all the Succulents have to come into the house.
As shown in the blip they stand in boxes which the go onto various windowsills. But I am running out of suitable windowsills which means that whenI see a brilliant new plant in the plant nursery, or when I am tempted to grow new varieties from seed I have to think hard about space.
But I am looking forward to the arrival of that seed catalogue !
