Lilac-breasted Roller in flight

While the safari has been predominantly animal based there have been one or two opportunities to photograph birds but these have usually been the large or most colourful ones. I blipped one of these rollers a few days ago but they are beautiful in flight, as extras I have included another leopard and an African Paradise flycatcher (bird 122). 

This was our last morning safari and we have one final late afternoon trip out before flying to Johannesburg tomorrow for a short extension to the holiday.

While I have taken a large number of photos I haven’t taken thousands or gone completely over the top but it is still going to take me weeks to go through them all.
