Paella pans

A thick mist again, so no cycle ride; made carrot and ginger soup. 

Afternoon walk to the farmers' market; got English apples, bread and cheese. Visitors for supper; the soup came out well ( I haven't made any soup for months, and this had no stock, just vegetables).

Fleur du Maquis cheese was new to me, and good. Visitors brought chocolate from OChocholates on Hamilton Place, which we've walked past multiple times .. going in next time we pass. 

Good conversation too, nothing contentious.
