A short escape in between the torrential rain

Our taxi driver was lovely and drove us from Pisa to Barga in the morning and then helped us up the hill with our luggage once he got to the Barga car-park.

Earlier we’d bought coffee and a breakfast pastry (maybe not enough) And walked along the main shopping street until we got to the river.  Jose had explored earlier so she was my guide.  I took a few images of doors along the way to add to my collection.

Once in the house ( and studio) where we are staying the rain really came down and we spent a good half an hour listening and watching and creating a few short video clips.

This image of the church was taken on a brief respite from the rain. I’d walked. Down the hill with Lucy to meet the rest of our party in the carpark and they arrived just as we got there, so it left me with time to Photograph the stormy clouds settled on the hills and to take street shots as I Walked back.

The White House below the cgphurch is where we are staying and I’m sat typing in a room on the left hand side ( It’s raining again, I can hear it as I type.
