Easy Like Sunday Afternoon

No sunshine this morning. Mr P and I went to Mass and then after teas and coffees, we cooked a Sunday roast lunch for my friend Anne, who was visiting us. These gorgeous flowers were a present from her.
After lunch, we spent a relaxing afternoon in the conservatory chewing the fat. Once Anne had gone home, Mr P and I called son no 2, he and his girlfriend got back today from their travels around Central America. They’re coming back to Peebles on Wednesday. Will be lovely to see them again after 6 months.
